How We Work
Engineer First
Every project starts with soil analysis, grading plans, and drainage design. The pretty stuff comes after the foundation is right.
Transparent Pricing
No surprises. We walk you through every line item so you understand exactly where your investment goes.
Built to Stay
We use ICPI-spec bases, proper compaction, and materials rated for Virginia's climate. Our work is designed to outlast the mortgage.

From your first call to the final walkthrough — here's exactly what to expect when you work with Evergreen Hardscapes.
30-Minute Phone Consultation
We start with a phone call to learn about your project, answer your questions about the company, and get a rough idea of scope and budget.
On-Site Visit
We visit your property to examine site conditions, identify cost factors, and discuss material selections in person.
Design Phase
If you're ready to move forward, we collect the design fee and begin creating your custom 3D design. Specialized processes like HOA approval, CAR approval, and VCAP applications begin at this stage. Note: specialized processes may incur additional fees beyond the design fee.
Design & Plan Review
We present your complete design and construction plan for your review and approval.
The Build
Once you approve the design and sign the contract, we accept the deposit (minus the design fee already paid) and begin construction.
Final Walkthrough & Warranty
After construction is complete, we do a final walkthrough together and register your warranty effective the day the project is completed.
